The Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, held conversations with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, in Islamabad, reaffirming the long data relationship between the two countries.
The discussions focused on improving bilateral cooperation in multiple sectors, and both leaders also exchange views on current regional developments.

Earlier on Thursday, Dar had announced that Pakistan would improve his relations with the Afghan Taliban government, after broad consultations with all relevant interested parties.
“We will do due diligence and discuss all pros and cons,” he said to journalists, about the possible diplomatic change.
The announcement occurs after China negotiated a trilateral meeting in Beijing, which involved Dar, Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
The meeting led to an agreement between Pakistan, China and Afghanistan to cooperate in the fight against terrorism, including the one aimed at groups such as Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Baloch Liberation Army (Bla).

In trilateral conversations, the three nations agreed to eliminate terrorism from their territories, with emphasizing that Pakistan would not accept the use of Afghan soil for attacks against their safety.
Giving added that while terrorist groups could operate without the knowledge of the Afghan government, any attacks sanctioned by the government would be unacceptable.
Giving also addressed the issue of Afghan refugees, stating that a new policy would allow Afghan refugees to enter Pakistan with a multiple input visa of one year for $ 100.
He stressed the importance of the Afghan government that guarantees that its soil is not used for terrorist activities against Pakistan.
On his successful visit to China, he discussed a variety of issues, including regional developments, trade and Afghan refugees.
He also confirmed that China and Pakistan had agreed to extend the Chinese-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to Afghanistan.
The proposed projects include a new road that links Peshawar with Kabul and a trans-factan railroad to connect the center and southern Asia.
A month ago, a high -level Saudi delegation, directed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan al Saud, arrived in Pakistan to explore investment opportunities.
The delegation, which included key Saudi officials, aims to strengthen bilateral economic relations between Riad and Islamabad.

This visit follows a recent meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Saudi heir prince Mohammed Bin Salman in Riad.
During his visit, the Saudi delegation is expected to get involved with the superior leadership of Pakistan, including the president, the prime minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the military officers, to discuss potential investments.
Pakistan is anxious to attract an important Saudi investment, particularly in the Reko DIQ mining project and the agricultural sector, as part of the initiative of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
