The alleged stalker of Jennifer Aniston, Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, has been mentally declared not suitable for appearing in the trial.
Thursday, the Friends Star did not attend to listen to psychiatrist Dr. Phani Tumu to declare Carwyle as “currently incompetent to be judged.”
However, the deputy public defender Robert Krauss told the judge of the Superior Court of the Los Angeles County, Maria Cavalluzzi, the stalker, accused of taking her car to the main door of Jennifer’s house in Bel Air, was receiving a “second opinion.”
With another hearing that will take place next week, the judge appointed the second psychiatrist, Dr. Kory Knapke, to examine Carwyle.
He is accused of a serious crime of harassment and another of vandalism, along with an aggravating circumstance of being a potential cause to great body damage.
Carwyle is in custody since May 5, when the incident occurred in Jennifer’s house.
He is also accused of harassing the Morning show Actress by sending “unwanted social networks, voicemail and email messages”, since March 2023.
Although Jennifer was at home at the time of the incident, he did not come into contact with anyone and according to a public information officer of the Los Angeles Police Department, they told him PEOPLE, “There was a security guard in the facilities that could stop that suspect until the officers arrived, at which time they stopped him without incident. The resident (Jennifer Aniston) was at home at that time.”
