Highpoint Technologies has presented a portable NVME storage solution that offers almost a capacity petabyte.
The new system presents eight of the SSD D5-P5336 122TB of Soldigm housed in Highpoint Rocketstor 6542AW NVME RAID. Together, they offer 976TB of storage in a sufficiently compact design for mobile environments or with space restrictions.
Rocketstor 6542AW admits the eight SSD through a single PCIE connection. Highpoint PCIE switching technology allows high -speed data transfer rates, which addresses the performance needs of industries with data.
High capacity NVME storage, perfect scalability
“This collaboration between Highpoint and Soldigm is a change of game in business storage,” said May Hwang, vice president of Highpoint Technologies.
“By qualifying the SSD of Soldigm D5-P5336 in our 6542AW rocketstor, we have created an unprecedented solution that combines high-capacity NVME storage with perfect scalability.”
The device itself has just under five inches high and a little more than nine inches long. Despite its small size, it offers complete PCIE connectivity, which makes it appropriate for moving professionals, small studies or business environments that need powerful storage in a limited space.
This configuration admits applications such as artificial intelligence, Big Data analysis and media production, where speed and storage capacity are essential.
In AI and automatic learning, model training often depends on rapid access to large data sets.
With its consolidation SSD, Rocketstor 6542AW admits faster training cycles. This helps researchers and developers administer workloads with better efficiency.
For backup work loads and business HPC, RAID support and high -speed connections offer safe and fast backup copies and access to low latency data.
