Indycar’s driver, Alexander Rossi, was having an incredible day in the Indianapolis 500, since he was competing towards the front of the pack, but everything ended up in the blink of an eye.
On lap 73, Rossi’s vehicle began to leak liquid from the back. He was causing problems to Alex Palou, who was immediately behind Rossi No. 20. Rossi entered the wells and told him that the crew would take a minute to discover what was happening with his car.

Rossi got into his boxes and his car was covered with flames. He left his cabin when the officials came to extinguish the fire. Rossi left the car and threw the gloves to the ground.
Rossi’s combat, Mike Miller, should also be treated, since he still had flames in the wells. It seemed to be well since the problem was being treated.

“Fortunately, Mike is fine too. It’s always a terrible situation and is very disappointing,” Rossi told Fox from his boxes. “That was a phenomenal racing car, and the team made a great decision to stay there when that first division happened with the strategy, and everything we were doing in the position of 20 Java House was incredible. That is what is so painful of this day is that you have to have so many things well. It is simply disappointing because it is another opportunity.”
Rossi said that the temperature of the gearbox began to increase as the race advanced, and he believed that this was at least one of the reasons why his vehicle was called.

Rossi won the race in 2016. He finished fourth in 2024 and fifth in 2023 and 2022.
