Bindi Irwin is “healing” after his paralyzing health scare.
The celebrity conservationist appealed to his Instagram account on Sunday, May 25 to share an emotional health update two weeks after undergoing emergency surgery due to a ruptured appendix and a recurring endometriosis.
“Healing,” the television personality began, “thank you for your incredible words of support and kindness. The reason I share my health trip is because more girls and women desperately need answers to their non -diagnosed pain. I have fought with endometriosis for more than 12 years. This disease is paralyzing and can make it feel incredibly isolated.”

Taking a position to “raise awareness and change the narrative of women’s health,” Irwin addressed women who face endometriosis, saying: “I see you, your pain is real and you deserve answers and genuine medical care.”
The update occurred after Irwin lost an annual gala that celebrated his late father, Crocodile hunter Star Steve Irwin, due to his sudden health scare.
For those not versed, “endometriosis is a condition in which cells similar to the lining of the uterus, or endometrium, grow out of the uterus”, causing severe pain, irregular periods and in extreme infertility cases, according to the mayonnaise clinic.
