In the company Dell Technologies World 2025 of the company, it revealed that the heat exchanger of the back door of Dell PowerCool (Erdhx), its alternative to the heat exchangers of the standard rear door, which promises to redefine cooling systems as we know them.
Better cooling everywhere
Dell says that the technology behind the new system is a first in the industry, and can capture 100% of the heat generated with its autonomous air flow system, which means that ERDHX can reduce cooling energy costs up to 60% compared to the solutions currently available.
This includes saving costs and eliminating the dependence on expensive coolers, since the ERDHX can operate with warmer water temperatures than traditional solutions (between 32 and 36 degrees Celsius).
This also means that customers can display many more dense calculation racks without increasing energy consumption, helping to maximize the ability of their data center.
The system can also help detect leaks or problems due to advanced detection systems, real -time thermal monitoring and can work with the DELL integrated frame controller service for the unified management of all components at the frame level.
