‘Yom-e-Takbeer’ acclaimed as the golden chapter in history

Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expanded on Wednesday congratulations to the people of the country and the UMMAH on the occasion of Yom-E-Takbeer, calling him a day of pride, unwavering national power and resolution.

In a message, she said: “Youm-e-Takbeer is not just an appointment about the calendar, it is a powerful reminder of Pakistan’s historical decision to become a nuclear energy, a decision that continues to inspire pride and confidence in the nation.”

She said that 27 years had passed, however, Pakistan’s people continue to keep their heads high and continue to do so. “This is the day when Pakistan’s leadership, under Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, chose the national interest and public aspiration on global pressure.”

The CM said: “Pakistan’s nuclear capacity is not only a strategic asset for the country, but a symbol of strength and pride for the whole Muslim world.” By the of the almighty Allah, Pakistan obtained the historical distinction of becoming the first Muslim nuclear power, “he said.

The CM emphasized that “the enemy no longer dares to take an evil eye on our land, due to the bold and visionary decision taken on May 28, 1998.

CM Maryam Nawaz praised Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, saying that the nation remains indebted to him for his brave and historical decision.

The president of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, also extended warm congratulations to the people of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Yom-E-Takeer, describing it as a golden chapter in the history of defense of the nation.

Remembering the events of May 28, 1998, Khan said that the successful nuclear tests held that day sent a decisive message to the adversaries of Pakistan.
