The delegation, which includes higher political figures, including Hina Rabbani Khaha, Dr. Musadik Malik, Khurram Dastgir Khan, Bushra Anjum Butt, Tehmina Janjua and Jalil Abas Jilani, aims to present Pakistan’s perspective about the recent military confrontation with India and the narrative of India and the narrative of New Delhi about the New Delhi conflict.
During its stay in New York until June 2, the delegation is scheduled to meet with the United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres, and the president of the UN General Assembly, Filemón Yang.
They will also inform the members of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (IIC) and interact with the UN Association of Correspondents.
After its commitments in New York, the delegation will go to Washington, DC, on June 3, where they plan to meet with US officials, including members of Congress and representatives of Think Tanks, to discuss bilateral relations and regional security concerns.
