Chris Martin, the lead singer of global rock sensation Coldplay, recently came clean and acknowledged that the band is an “easy target” for critics.
Known for his distinctive voice and years of hits with Coldplay, Martin reflected on the band’s public reception in a recent interview with Rolling stone.
The 47-year-old British rocker said the band is still sometimes seen as an easy target for criticism, even though they are one of the biggest bands in the world.
He joked: “It would be terrible if we lived in a society where everyone had to [like the same thing]. We are a very, very easy and safe target. “We are not going to fight back.”
