The Punjab Cabinet has approved the first Integral Child Protection Policy of the province.

This policy developed by the Office of Child Protection and Welfare with the technical support of UNICEF Pakistan was described as a new reference point for child welfare, marking a transformative step to end violence, abuse, exploitation and negligence against children in communities.

The policy, according to the president of CPWB, serves as an integral roadmap for child protection mechanisms in Punjab.
