At least 14 militants allegedly affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij, a group identified as an Indian proxy, were killed in operations based on Interelegnce in Waziristan del Norte between June 2 and 3, emerged on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by Public Relations between Services (ISPR), the Security Forces carried out operations in the Dhatta Khel area in Waziristan del Norte. “After a fierce fire exchange, 14 militants affiliated with the group sponsored by the Indians were neutralized.”
Disinfection operations are ongoing in the area to guarantee the complete elimination of any remaining threat, the wing of the media said.
“Pakistan’s armed forces remain resolved in their mission of eradicating terrorism sponsored by the Indians and restoring lasting peace throughout the country,” the statement added.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for his “professional excellence” in the operation of North Waziristan, saying that such efforts were critical to eliminate the threat raised by what he called enemies of humanity.
“We will crush the nefarious designs of these terrorists,” Shehbaz said in a statement issued by his office. “With the professional capacity of our security forces, we will uproot the terrorism monster once and for all.”
Earlier this week, a similar operation was carried out in which seven terrorists allegedly affiliated with the group backed by India Fitna al-Hindustan were killed in two separate operations in Baluchistan on June 2, 2025.

Previously, the federal government had officially appointed all terrorist groups operating in Baluchistan as ‘Fitna to Hindustan‘accusing India of sponsoring a war of power through these outfits.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior, the measure is derived from “the participation of some organizations and groups in terrorist activities in Baluchistan, which are harmful to Islamic faith, the sovereignty of Pakistan and its usual traditions.”
The notification also declared that the new designation is intended to reflect “the true nature and ideology” of these groups and their “disastrous designs” sponsored by India.
“All government entities are aimed at starting the previous practice immediately,” said the notification, underlining a concerted effort to rethink the narrative around insurgent violence in the province.
The announcement occurred after Islamabad accused India of growing indirect aggression after what he described as his defeat in a recent security operation called “Marka-E-HAQ“.
