After the mass jailbreak from the Karachi district prison, Malir, the authorities recovered three escapes more on Tuesday night, which brought the total number of inmates arrested at 94 of the 216 escaped prisoners.
However, 122 prisoners are still released, and a search operation is being carried out to stop them, authorities confirmed.
According to prison authorities, there has been a case related to Jailbreak at the City of Shah Latif City, where the deputy superintendent of the Zulfiqar prison ali pirzada under different sections of the Pakistan Criminal Code (PPC) and the Anti -Terrorist Law. The listed charges include murder attempt, Dacoity, police meeting and terrorism, among others.
The authorities have appealed to the public to obtain help to locate the remaining fugitives and have increased coordination between the agencies of application of the law to guarantee their rapid capture. Reza are being carried out in different parts of the city with augmented surveillance in the known residences of escaped prisoners.
In addition, officials have announced that immims that voluntarily return to jail will be granted by clemency.
Volunteer prisoners
In the middle of the escape from the Malir prison in progress, a more prisoner has voluntarily delivered.

Previously, a woman took her son and her friend to jail, one of whom she was addicted to drugs and had come home at 3.30 in the morning at the night of jail.
The woman said she gave them food before taking them back to jail. He was hoping that his son would recover from drug addiction in jail.

CM orders survey
Meanwhile, in an emergency meeting held at the home of the main minister, Sindh Cm Murad Ali Shah ordered an exhaustive investigation into the escape incident of Malir’s jail. He assigned the Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah to supervise the investigation involving the Karachi Hassan Naqvi commissioner and Karachi police chief Javed Alam Odho.
Going to the press after the meeting, Murad criticized the administration of the jail for not seeking immediate assistance from local authorities and the agencies of application of the law.
“There seems to have been a complete breakdown in communication and preparation,” he said during the press conference.
He stressed that those found negligent would face consequences, “those responsible will be responsible.” The main minister also instructed the Secretary of the Interior to carry out a detailed security audit of all prisons throughout Sindh.
A solid search operation by the district and prison police and the Rangers followed the rest of the jail, during which 90 escaped were recaptured on Tuesday.
According to the police, the prison administration evacuated the barracks prisoners as a precautionary measure due to the potential danger after the earthquake.
Around 3,000 prisoners gathered near Mari’s door, causing a stampede.
The Minister of Hogar and Law called this Jailbreak as “one of the greatest in Pakistan.”
The prisoners took advantage of the situation, broke the locks of the Mari door and began to escape by jumping on the walls of the prison.

The prison police staff and the border body (FC) tried to stop prisoners shooting warning shots.
However, a prisoner snatched a Kalashnikov from a police officer and began to shoot indiscriminately, injuring two members of the FC staff and a police officer.
Other prisoners also wounded officials with stones and sticks and managed to escape. The intense shot caused panic in the area, and traffic on the National Highway was suspended.
The road from Quaidabad to Malir prison closed, which resulted in long tails of vehicles between Malir Kala Board and Quaidabad.
A great contingent of the Malir District police, the rangers and the FC arrived at the scene.
IG and DIG prisons, prison superintendent, SSP Malir and other senior officials also reached the site.
The Interior Minister of Sindh, Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar, realized the incident and ordered SSP Malir to take immediate measures and arrest the escaped prisoners.
He instructed effective measures, surveillance, intelligence and obstacles, and ordered a strict departmental action against negligent officials.
The Jailbreak began late on the night of June 2 and continued until the morning of June 3 after hundreds of inmates, without resolved by mild tremors, were taken to the patio of the prison as a security measure, said Interior Minister of Sindh, Zia Ul Hasan Lanjar, while talking with journalists on the site.
A door -to -door search was performed in the surrounding areas.
The locals captured videos of the prisoners who escaped and shared them on social networks, showing some without a shirt that fled barefoot and others escaping in Rickshaws of six seats.
In the initial search operation, 50 prisoners were arrested from the prison, while Malir City police arrested 19 prisoners from different vehicles, and Sukhan’s police arrested another eight.
The police also made ads in the mosque speakers to inform the public about the descriptions of the prisoners. Identity cards were verified, and suspicious people were arrested to interrogate it.
IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon also arrived at Malir prison on Tuesday morning and received an informative session from the superintendent about the situation.
IG Ellabó to journalists that most prisoners were imprisoned in narcotics, and several of them had psychological problems.
Murad eliminated the Nazir Qazi Prison Inspector, suspended Dig Hassan Sehto prisons and Malir prison superintendent, Arshad Hussain, for the incident.
Murad described the “completely unacceptable” incident and promised to hold those responsible, citing serious negligence from the prison authorities.
Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said he announced that strict measures would not be taken against prisoners who voluntarily return within 24 hours.
However, those who do not return, will be accused under the provisions of Jailbreak, who have a sentence of up to seven years in prison.
