The Pakistani delegation led by Bilawal ends two days of visiting the UN in New York

A high -level Pakistani parliamentary delegation led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, president of the Peoples Party of Pakistan and former Foreign Minister, concluded a two -day visit to the United Nations headquarters in New York. The delegation transmitted Pakistan’s position on regional tensions, urging respect for international law and peaceful relations with neighbors.

During the visit, the Delegation met with the UN Secretary General, the President of the General Assembly, members of the Security Council, ambassadors of the OIC Group, media representatives, civil society and Pakistani diaspora.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan seeks peaceful and cooperative relations based on mutual equality and respect, but will not tolerate aggression or violations of international standards.

The delegation highlighted the illegal actions of India, including the violations of the UN Charter and the International Humanitarian Law, and condemned the attacks against civilians in Indians Jammu and Kashmir illegally occupied (Iiojk). They rejected India’s claims about the terrorist attack of April 22, citing a lack of evidence.

Speaking at a press conference at the UN Headquarters in New York on Tuesday, he blamed India for using the attack of the pahalgama on April 22 in Iiojk as a pretext for aggression. He stressed that Pakistan has constantly condemned terrorism in all its forms and proposed a collaboration between ISI and RAW to combat terrorism.

“I am completely sure that if Isi [Inter-Service Intelligence of Pakistan] and raw [Research and Analysis Wing of India] They sat and worked together to combat these forces, we would see a significant decrease in terrorism both within India and Pakistan, “he said.

The recent fire described as a “first welcome step”, but warned that it was “simply a first step.” Bilawal also highlighted the human cost of terrorism in Pakistan, stating: “If you compare the number of victims with terrorism, terrorists kill Pakistani than the Indians.”

The concern for the unilateral decision of India was raised to suspend the Treaty of the Waters of the Indo (IWT), vital for more than 240 million Pakistani. The delegation warned that the “Water weapon” of India violates the obligations of the treaty and international law.

Pakistan reaffirmed his commitment to the fight against terrorism in all forms and condemned terrorism campaigns sponsored by Indians and transnational murder campaigns. The delegation requested cooperation on politicization to combat terrorism effectively.

The delegation emphasized the restricted and legal response of Pakistan to the Indian provocations and warned against attempts to normalize arbitrary strikes in the nuclear sensitive region, warning that such actions could have disastrous consequences.

They requested a fair and peaceful resolution of the JAMMU and Kashmir dispute, in line with the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the aspirations of the People of Cashmiro.

The delegation urged the international community to defend the holiness of the treaty, restore the Treaty of the Water of the Indo and support the integral dialogue between India and Pakistan.

Other members of the delegation included the Minister for Climate Change Dr. Musadik Masood Malik; Senator Sherry Rehman, president of the Permanent Committee of Climate Change of the Senate; former foreigners of foreigners Hina Rabbani Khar and Khurram Dastgir Khan; Senator Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari; Senator Bushra Anjum Butt; and former secretaries of foreigners Jalil Abbas Jilani and Tehmina Janjua.

Pakistan sent two delegations to different world capitals as part of Islamabad’s diplomatic campaign to present his position on the aggression of India after Pahalgam’s attack.

A delegation of nine members led by Bilawal is visiting the United States, while another team, headed by the special assistant of Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, is currently in Moscow, where they met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, on Tuesday.

In the United Nations, the Pakistani delegation dedicated itself to representatives of the Member States of the UN Security Council, including some of the nearby allies of India, informing them about worrying security developments in southern Asia after the recent military aggression and unilateral actions of India.

The parliamentary delegation led by Bilawal arrived in Washington on Wednesday, where they were well received by Pakistan ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh.
