“In addition, recent rumors, for which corroborating facts have not been discovered, have no basis,” the letter continued. “The rumors that quickly get out of control have the potential to severely damage the good reputation that each of us should enjoy. Consequently, such as gossip, the spread of rumors is sinful, and we must all work to overcome this trend of our falling human nature.”
Casey said the police department of the Municipality of Green confirmed to the Archdiocese that “there was no evidence or investigation of crimes against Fr. Bachman.” The letter also noted that there are no “ecclesiastical investigations” in progress.
But during the direction of Williams, Mcquaide rose from his bank to demand more clarity.

“Please take a second. We want to put these rumors to rest. Can you answer this for me, fact or fiction?” Mcquaide was heard in a video Obtained by WCPO. It is heard that someone in the video replies: “This is not the time for this”, but Mcquaide continues.
“Sorry, Lord, this is the time and place. I will stand up.”
