The member of the Basketball Hall of Fame Shaquille O’Neal is not happy with the current state of the NBA basketball.
O’Neal, 53, lamented how the game had become “soft.”
“The league is softening, the game is softening and a couple of people will be needed to bring it back,” O’Neal said during a recent appearance in “new heights.”

O’Neal also expressed his disdain for the current NBA stars game format.
“Our NBA All-Star format is terrible. I don’t know who is in charge, but it’s terrible,” said O’Neal.
The NBA format this season had four different teams in a mini tournament written by O’Neal, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith. The fourth team in the format was the winner of Rising Stars Challenge.

Over the years, the NBA has played with the format with the hope of obtaining more effort from the players. Regardless of the format, players have not given an effort of 100% during the game and the product has decreased.
The NBA commissioner, Adam Silver, said that next year’s All-Star game will be of the United States.
The NBA finals begin Thursday at 8:30 pm et between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers.
