Stephen A. Smith had a difficult question in his lap during the Wednesday edition of “First Toma”: Would you prefer to be president of the United States or the next Chief coach of the New York Knicks?
Smith had to think about it, since he has raised the possibility of applying for president and has added his voice to some of the Hotontantic political problems discussed in that particular arena. But the Knicks also fired Tom Thibodeau and have an open position.

ESPN’s personality did not necessarily like the idea of working under the owner of the Knicks team, James Dolan, and said he would like to be president more than the next chief coach for the Orange and Blue team.
“Can you see Stephen A. trying to negotiate the situation of Ukraine-Russia?” Chris “Mad Dog,” Russo asked.

“I wouldn’t try to negotiate it. I would work with the European Union. I would work with the United Nations. I would do what I could to empower us.
Russo applauded Smith, but found himself in going further in the political sphere.
Smith told ABC News in April that he had no choice but to consider a presidential career.

“I have no choice, because I have chosen officials, and I will not give their names, who approach me. I have had people who are experts approach me. I have had people who obtained a lot of money, billionaires and others, who have told me about exploratory committees and things of that nature. I am not a politician. I have never had a desire to be a politician,” Smith said.
