After eclipssing the 2,000 -yards land during the regular season 2024, Saquon Barkley was appointed cover athlete of “Madden Nfl 26”.
Barkley signed with the Philadelphia Eagles the last low season. His historic first year in Philadelphia earned him the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro honors. According to all accounts, the 28 -year -old will enter the 2025 season at the best moment of his career. However, the star corridor recently hinted that when he eventually moves away from the game, he could be sudden.

During a recent appearance in the “Podcast Green Light Light of the former NFL player, Chris Long”, Barkley was asked if he would move away while he was still at the top of his career or if he stayed.
“Probably [be] One of those guys who would be out of nowhere, “Barkley replied in reference to his eventual retirement.” I will probably wake up one day, either next year or two years or four years and I will simply say, ‘yes, it ends’. I don’t think I can lose that passion. “
Barkley then summoned the shocking decision of the Barry Sanders football hall to get away from the NFL in 1998.

“Competitive nature will always be there. I like my favorite player of all time is Barry Sanders, so probably similar to that. Maybe one day, as if I were out of nowhere, I will probably be playing, and I will simply say, ‘Yes, call it.'”

Sanders accumulated 15,269 career yards before withdrawing abruptly. I needed less than 1,500 yards to reach the hurry record of all Walter Payton. The Dallas Cowboys Great Immitt Smith is currently at the top of the list of all time of the League.

The Eagles rewarded Barkley’s productive 2024 campaign with a lucrative two -year contract extension. Barkley entered the 2025 campaign with 7,216 yards per race in his career and was a key part of the Eagles race to the title of Super Bowl Lix.
Barkley is attributed seven seasons of the NFL, while Sanders played a total of 10 years in the League.
