It is almost that time of the year again: WWDC time. The World Developer Conference of Apple is an annual event, where it reveals to developers and the rest of us what comes in terms of software updates. That covers iOS, iPados, macos, watchos, tvos and visions, so it is always a full program.
When it comes to official news of WWDC 2025, all we really know is when it is happening. Not officially, there have been a lot of leaks and rumors that hint what is to come, and we have picked them up here so that they can prepare for the big day.
If Apple adheres to its usual schedule, we will obtain beta versions of some of these updates shortly after the WWDC 2025 has finished, followed by launches complete later in the year. When it comes to iOS 19 (or iOS 26), for example, the software must begin to be implemented in iPhones in September to coincide with the launch of the iPhone 17.

WWDC 2025: What can we expect?
It seems that WWDC 2025 will be particularly busy, according to the rumors and speculation that we have found in the period prior to the event. Keep in mind that none of this is still official, but this is what we expect.
A great software brand change
We expected iOS 19 to follow iOS 18, as it would, but a reliable source says that Apple plans to name the next update of the iPhone iOS 26 operating system, so that it coincides with the year 2026, despite the fact that it is launched in the third quarter of 2025.
Not only that, but the rumor is that each Apple software platform will be renamed to match. This would solve the quite confusing situation we have now, where the macOS, the tvos, the watchos and the visos are in different version numbers.
That would be a great leap in some cases, from visions 2 to visits 26, but it would make everything more consistent. It will also be interesting to see what devices will be eligible for the next updates.
Renewed interfaces
Another filtration that arose in advance suggests that the majority of Apple software platforms will obtain a modern visual update, one that really matches the least used of those platforms, visitors.
From what we have heard, it seems that the new aspect will be more consistent, simpler and with more use of translucent and glass elements. In fact, we have seen indications of this in the official invitation to WWDC 2025.
In addition, the motto of the event is “Sleek Peak”, pointing towards something that implies a visual review. It could be the largest update of the Ample software aesthetics and applications from iOS 7, all the way in 2014.
Great application updates
In addition to updating the underlying operating systems, Apple also tends to save all its advertisements to update individual applications for WWDC 2025. This year it is rumored that messages will obtain automatic translation and support for surveys, for example.
The same filtration predicts the animated album’s screen on the blocking screen when you listen to your songs in Apple Music, as well as the ability to export notes in Markdown format. A review of the Carplay interface has also been predicted.
Apparently, a dedicated game application is also on their way to Apple devices, a central center where all its games, chats, classification tables and other game related to the game can live and synchronize their various devices.
Not much Apple intelligence
Apple has recently been great in AI, like almost all other business technology companies, but after several delays in the launch of Apple’s intelligence, it seems that we will not have much on the path of the new ads of AI on WWDC 2025.
That is according to Mark Gurman in Bloomberg, who is usually reliable when it comes to Apple predictions. Apparently, it will be quite calm on the front of Siri, while Apple engineers regroup and make sure the next update is polished.
We may still see some Apple intelligence settings, such as battery optimizations, but we do not expect too much in terms of AI, even if there is the possibility that Apple can open its platforms to more voice assistants of third parties.
More leaks and rumors
That is not the end of leaks and rumors when it comes to WWDC 2025. It is rumored that software updates for Apple Airpods are adding features such as camera control, support for more gestures and a new microphone mode.
Then there is the Apple Watch: we will not see a new hardware in WWDC 2025, but we suspect that Apple can introduce some new follow -up features in Watchos, as well as perhaps a handful of Apple intelligence characteristics.
Undoubtedly, Apple will have some surprises in the store, so unique us on June 9 for full history: we will run a live blog along with quick updates from Apple, since we listen to everything about their software plans for the rest of the year.
