The new president of Korea, Lee Jae-Myung, appointed the CEO of Hashed Research, Kim Yong-Beom, to be the policy director of the Presidential Office of Korea.

Before leading HASH’s research, the group of experts from Crypto Fund Hashed, Kim was the vice president of Economics and Finance during the administration of Jae-in Moon.
In a previous interview with Coindesk, Simon Kim, the CEO of Hashed, declared that the Lee Administration will be friendly with cryptographic and that local regulators are closely monitoring the developments of cryptographic policies in the United States with the aim of emulating them.
One of the first policy initiatives in which Kim Yong-Beom could be working is a stablecoin based on Wones, which was identified by the newly elected president Lee as a priority to “prevent national wealth from filtering abroad.”
