The former NCAA swimmer and Outkick collaborator, Riley Gaines, speaks after the Outlet learned that his media credential application for some WNBA games would not be accommodated.
“A few weeks ago, I made this video highlighting how it seems that Brittney Griner said Bleep White Girl after dirtying a game against Indiana’s fever, the team played by Caitlin Clark,” Gaines said in a collaborative Instagram post between his verified account and the official Outkick page.

“You can see and decide what Brittney Griner seems to say,” Gaines continued. “It is not certain what Griner says (but) there is a way to find out … ask Brittney Griner. However, no one has done it except outkick.”
The video in question was not accompanied by any audio, but users on social networks have speculated what the WNBA veteran has said.
According to Dan Zaksheske from Outkick, Outlet submitted credential requests for at least two Atlanta Dream games this season. The requests were for the Dream Road game against Los Angeles Sparks on May 27 and the Friday night game in Connecticut against Sun. Both questions were rejected by the respective teams.

“Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate your request for a media credential for Connecticut Sun Vs. Atlanta Dream on Friday, June 6,” Sun said in an email sent to Outkick. “Due to the very limited space, priority is given to those who are associated with points of sale who have constantly covered the organization during previous seasons.”
After briefly mentioning the WNBA investigation into a racist behavior report of fans in the confrontation of the fever of May 17, which was supposedly addressed to Angel Reese, Gaines pointed out Outkick’s previous experiences with the obtaining of credentials.

“We have never had problems to obtain credentials with any professional sports league in the past, but you would not know that now they have a very limited space.”
Gaines said the recent decision will not prevent the output from presenting uncomfortable questions to sports figures. “Anyway, in Outkick we will continue asking difficult questions,” he promised.
Pak Gazette Digital also sent a request to cover the SOAM-SUN game on Friday. That application was not approved since it was submitted “after the deadline of 72 hours,” said a spokesman, adding that adaptations could not be made “due to space limitations.”
