Hafizabad:
The case of group violation has taken another turn when a second suspect, identified as Laeeq, was killed in an alleged police meeting near the Kot Nanak village on Friday.
Meanwhile, two police officers have been arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe to facilitate the previous release of Custody.
Police sources said that Kassaki police station officers were in a routine patrol when their vehicle was criticized from three to four armed men near Kot Nanak.
The police returned the fire in self -defense. During the exchange, an assailant was deadly shot, according to the reports, for the shots of their own accomplices, which managed to flee. The deceased was then identified as Laeeq, one of the suspects in the violation of a woman in front of her husband.
Laeeq’s body was transferred to the Hospital of the District Headquarters for autopsy, and the Police have registered a case against the attackers not identified by assaulting the police personnel. This development follows the death of another defendant, Khawar, in a similar encounter only one day before.
Despite these operations, two main suspects, Ikram Mangat and Chand Mangat, remain freedom.
The Legal Inspector Muneeb Mangat, published in the Office of the District Police officer (DPO), and Kashif Warraich, in charge of the Pure Hameed Police check post, have been accused of accepting a bribe of RS140,000 in exchange for facilitating the escape of the LEGAL CUSTODY.
