The Sindh government approved on Friday the prohibition of four -square and online Rickshaws, as well as in the sale of windows, police and sirens.
The meeting chaired by Interior Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, discussed the amendments to the rule of motor vehicles, also approved the outsourcing of motorized vehicle aptitude control.
IGP Sindh, and the secretaries of law, transport and mass transport, special taxes and taxes, together with excavation traffic, were present at the meeting.
They approved the mandatory certification of physical conditioning for commercial and non -commercial vehicles, it was decided that a draft would be prepared to the government for approval and ratification of the amendments.
Participants approved a complete prohibition of four -seater Rickshaws, and decided to make it mandatory that oil tankers and water dumpeters install trackers and sensors. Minister Lanjar declared that third -party services will be committed to issue physical condition certificates to commercial and non -commercial vehicles, with formal comprehension memoranda (MOU) signed with them.
Fines were also approved for rape, including RS200,000 founces by incorrect driving of government vehicles, RS25,000 for motorcyclists that drive against traffic and RS100,000 by four -wheeled vehicles that violate the unidirectional rules.
Motorcyclists who drive without a license must be fined with RS25,000, while car drivers will receive a fine of RS50,000 for rape. Meanwhile, criminals for the first time of a wheel or drift must be fined with RS100,000, increasing to RS200,000 and RS300,000 for repeated crimes.
Minister Lanjar also approved the installation of at least five cameras in heavy/cargo vehicles. In addition, e-challans for traffic violations will be delivered to the registered directions of vehicle owners, and vehicles with unpaid fines will not be approved for sale or transfer.
The minister also said that traffic, transport and special tax specialties will now be interconnected and operated online, while a dedicated traffic magistrate will be designated to handle cases of violation of the traffic law.
The Minister of Special Taxes, Mikesh Kumar Chawala, said the total support of the department to enforce traffic regulations and emphasized that no registration permit or route will be issued to Rickshaws four -seater or larger, and repression against said vehicles on the roads will be launched. In addition, he said that all the organization steps to establish the structure of the vehicle’s physical conditioning service will be completed immediately, after which the strict application of physical aptitude requirements will follow.
