- Many changes are rumored for iOS 26
- This is what Techradar readers are looking forward to
- Everything will be announced on Monday
With Apple WWDC 2025 now only a couple of days away, we are seeing a rapid number of leaks around iOS 26 (the new rumored name for iOS 19), and in the opinion of Techradar readers, one of these rumors is much more exciting than rest.
More than 1,000 of you responded to a survey on our WhatsApp channel, which is worth registering in the latest news and technology chat, to say that I was anxious for the Visisical style redesign that has been predicted for the iPhone.
This redesign has been filtered by Mark Gurman in Bloomberg, who is usually one of the most reliable tipsters when it comes to Apple. Apparently, the iOS interface will be more transparent, more modern and more glass, as well as visitors.
It is a visual review that has been caused by Apple’s official invitation for WWDC, and 43% of our respondents say what they expect most eagerly when it comes to revealing that we anticipate next Monday.
Battery life, live translation and more
The second place in our survey, with 17% of the votes, went to the rumored optimizations of AI that will extend the battery life of the iPhone. More battery life is always welcome, and apparently iOS 26 will make efficiency improvements depending on how you use your phone.
Statistics show that 12% of our readers are more excited about the live translation characteristics that are said to reach AirPods with the next software update, while 11% of you are anxious for the rumored new game center that is supposedly on its way.
Completing the survey, we have the redesign of Carplay (9%), the surveys appear in messages (5%) and the application of simplified camera (3%). None of these changes have yet been confirmed, but all have been predicted by reliable sources.
The Techradar team will bring all the ads as they occur, and you can see the entire live online event. The most important note is starting at 10 am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST on June 9 (so the 3 am, on June 10 in Australia).
