The field marshal, the general also Munir, visited progress positions along the control line (LOC) on Saturday to celebrate Eidul Azha with troops.
The visit began with EID prayers, where special supplications for national peace, stability and prosperity were offered, as well as in honor of the martyrs who gave their lives for the defense of Pakistan.
Extending Eid greetings to officers and soldiers, the Army Chief praised his professional excellence, unwavering dedication and resistance to continuous challenges. He said that celebrating EID on the front line, far from loved ones, reflected its deep commitment to the national service.
General Munir praised the role of training in recent operations, in particular Marqa-E-HAQ and Operation Bunyaanum Marsoos, and paid tribute to the martyrs and Ghazis.
“He has avenged the loss of innocent lives, including women and children, through their bold and effective response,” he said.
During its interaction, the Cheif of the Army personnel (COA) recognized the high morals, the operational preparation and surveillance of the troops in counteracting the violations of the Indian Fire. He reiterated full confidence in the ability of the military to deter and defeat any aggression.
When heading to the broader regional context, the Munir Field Marshal reaffirmed the Pakistan and Kashmir (Iiojk) principles position of Pakistan. He emphasized the need to solve the Kashmir’s dispute according to the aspirations of the People of Cashmiro and the resolutions of the UN Security Council.
The Coas was received at the LOC by the commander of the Rawalpindi body upon arrival.
