- Watchos 26 is expected to be announced on Monday
- It should be executed on each clock compatible with 11 watchos
- An important visual review is among rumored changes.
A new software update for the best Apple watches is on the way, and we just said what models will be compatible with the new Watchos 26 (which is apparently the new name of Watchos 12).
According to a source “with a proven history” in contact with Macrumors, each watch that can run Watchos 11 can also run Watchos 26, so there will be no device that is behind this year.
That means that Apple’s smart watches from the Apple Watch Series 6 (released in 2020) and the Apple Watch Se (launched in 2022) will be eligible for the new update, as well as all the watches thrown since then.
If you remember last year, after the announcement of Watchos 11, we listen to Apple that the series 5, the series 4 and the original SE would not receive the 2024 update. This time, all the compatible devices are currently included.
What is on the way?
Apple has not said anything officially about Watchos 26, even that it is on their way or is receiving a brand change, but we have heard many rumors about what the next software update could be bringing with them.
As mentioned in the same Macrumors article, there is a prediction that Watchos 26 will offer support for third -party shortcuts at the Watches Control Center for the first time, which should mean an improved experience for users.
Apparently, a new and improved visual interface is also on the road, which would follow the leadership of the visos, with great transparency and effect of frosted glass. In fact, it is said that Redesign himself comes for all Apple software platforms.
We also hope we can obtain a fucking intelligence from Apple in Apple Watch. All these new features are scheduled to advertise on WWDC 2025 on Monday, before Watchos 26 is launched this September with the Apple Watch 11.
