BallerinaThe director of ‘S revealed that it was Keanu Reeves an end to the action thriller in the same way as John Wick’s second film.
Speaking before the global release of the film on June 6, Len Wiseman told Techradar that Reeves, who plays the Hitman head of the franchise, suggested that BallerinaThe final scene should reflect the 2017 John Wick: Chapter 2.
Complete spoilers continue immediately for Of John Wick’s world: dancerSo come back if you haven’t seen it yet.
Ballerina He ends with Ana Macarro de Ana de Armas watching her close friend, who was also a murderer of Ruska Roma in training before the director threw her, achieved her dream of becoming a ballet dancer with full right.
However, while Macarro observes his performance in a local theater, the footage is interspersed with someone taking out a contract blow in the titular character. Numerous phones, owned by other successes, nothing less, begin to ping and buzz in the theater, which Macarro quickly realizes. Knowing that it is in danger if it stays, it goes silently through one of the firefire outputs.
The end is not different from John Wick: Chapter 2The final scene. That film, which takes place years before Ballerina (Obtain more information about the timeline of this franchise in my John Wick movies in the order guide), close with the homonymous hitman that is forced to run.
This is because Wick executed a murderer on the land of the New York branch of The Continental, a chain of Hitman’s security houses, which is a great non-not. Subsequently, Winston Scott, New York Continental Manager, reluctantly places a reward in Wick’s Head of Wick’s Head, New York continental manager and Wick’s ally. While Wick flees from the scene, murderers of murderers in their neighborhood begin to sound to notify them the reward for whom I successfully eliminated Wick.
“When Keanu and I were finishing [his on-screen involvement] in BallerinaWe talked about how this movie would end, “Wiseman told me,” and that end was the whole idea of Keanu. I wanted that last moment to be a riff at the end of the second film, which talks about the topic of ‘actions and consequences’ that extends through these films. “
As obvious as that is, the open nature of Of John Wick’s world: dancerThe final scene mocks the possibility that Macarro’s trip will continue in the multimillion -dollar company of Lionsgate. So, does Wiseman have any idea about where this series of films directed by De de Armas could go at the Wick-Ambverse?
“In a fantasy way, yes, I have my ideas [of where a follow-up could go]”Wiseman replied when I asked about possible sequel plans.” But, I would like to listen to what people respond to this movie first. I hope you also speculate fans about who believe it comes after Eve, because we don’t really know who it is. “
Wiseman is not the only member of the cast and the crew that one of the new 2025 films wants to configure a future delivery in the Wick world.
In a separate conversation, Norman Reedus, who plays the criminally underlying Daniel (read more about why I think that is the case in my Ballerina review), he said he believes there is much more to explore with his character. In fact, the only things we really know about Daniel are that he is the son of the now deceased cult of Gabriel Byrne known as the chancellor, he has a daughter and survived BallerinaThe events thanks to Macarro.
“I would love to do all those things,” Reedus said when I asked if he would like to have his own spin-off movie, appears in Ballerina 2and/or appear in John Wick Chapter 5. “We put that in the universe. I mean, it is obvious and, if this movie works well, who knows what the future holds?”
