Terron Armstead called him a race after playing at the NFL for 12 years and winning four Pro Bowl teams between his time with the New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins.
The 33 -year -old offensive line fought against wounds towards the end of his career. He pointed to pain as one of the reasons why he decided to hang his tacos.

“I’ve been dealing with a knee since my third year in the league,” he said in an appearance in the “Nightcap show.” “I didn’t see a field of practice at all, and not because I didn’t want to or the Dolphins just wanted me to rest. It’s as if I could not walk.
“After a game on Sunday, I could not walk alone, under my own power, until Wednesday, Thursday. So I could only play under the pains of pain. I could not exert any pressure on my knee, so it was like, I cannot continue to do that to myself.”

The Saints chose Armstead in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft. He played in six games in his rookie year before obtaining his place in the offensive line in 2014. He never appeared in the 16 or 17 games during a NFL season.
He played the last three years with the Dolphins and announced his retirement in April.
