The member of the National Baseball Hall, Chipper Jones, has had it with a particular MLB referee after a recent game between Chicago puppies and Detroit’s tigers.

Jones, who has been quite active in X recently with respect to baseball, took the time to eviscerate the arbitrator of the MLB Doug Eddings during the 6-1 victory of the puppies on Saturday.

During the game, the referee’s crew lost several calls, including Eddings behind the plate. Eddings, and Jones believed that the referee’s performance was one of the worst he has seen.

In fact, Jones believes that Eddings is one of the worst today’s game.

“Not only one of the worst referees of the League to spend 2 decades … but one of the most confrontative. Toxic combination!” Jones wrote in X.

The manager of D’Art

In addition to Strike-Three calls, Eddings never asked for help when he called Kyle Tucker for a strike during his bat to bat after what seemed to be a totally controlled swing.

However, Jones knows about Eddings given his time with the Atlanta Braves from 1993 to 2012. Eddings began working in MLB in the late 1990s, and worked 14 postseason series, including two world series.

Jones did not specify his own experiences with Eddings, but they didn’t seem too positive.

The x @opyescorecards account published the results of Eddings of the puppies of the puppies, where their general precision was 92%, and had an 80% accuracy called Strike with eight of its 40 calls strikes ruled “true balls.”

The referee in MLB has been a long -standing issue, especially taking into account the technological advances that have been carried out in sports in other places.

The MLB commissioner, Rob Manfred, says that the League will propose an automated challenge system of ball blows for use in 2026. It was tested during spring training, and it seems that the feedback was positive.

The pitchers and batters were able to take advantage of their head to challenge the call with a ball made by the arbiter of the plate. If the rule passes, each team is expected to have two challenges that they can use during the game, doing when to use it part of their strategy.

While it is a massive change in the modern game, the human element of the referees will still apply, and Jones clearly wants to see better from Eddings in the future.
