Wrestlemania 42 that will take place in Las Vegas

WWE announced Wednesday that Wrestlemania 42 will take place in Las Vegas for the second consecutive year after it was previously revealed that New Orleans would be the host site.

The reports on the premiere event of the WWE season, leaving New Orleans, appeared a few weeks ago. As the speculation was unbridled on social networks, WWE announced during his Live Premium Premium Money in the Bank event that Wrestlemania will return to the Allegiant Stadium.

“Las Vegas helped deliver the greatest Wrestlemania of all time, breaking records and delivering an incredible week for fans around the world,” said WWE president Nick Khan, in a press release. “We hope to work once again with the talented and effective teams in the authority of the Convention and visitors of Las Vegas and Allegiant Stadium to bring Wrestlemania back to the world capital of sports and entertainment of the world.”

The CEO of the Convention and Visitors Authority of Las Vegas (LVCVA), Steve Hill, who spoke with Pak Gazette Digital earlier this year before Wrestlemania 41, also promoted the return of the event.

“We are honored that WWE has once again selected Las Vegas to organize the biggest event in his calendar,” said Hill. “Bring Wrestlemania 42 to Las Vegas underlines the reputation of our city for raising world class events to new heights. We are excited to build last year’s success and offer an even more incredible experience for the WWE universe in 2026”.

Wrestlemania in Las Vegas was as busy as the week of the Super Bowl in the city. WWE organized events up and down of Las Vegas Strip, including the ceremony of the Hall of Fame, the roast of Wrestlemania and Wrestlemania after dusk in the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

WWE said “Monday Night Raw”, “Friday Night SmackDown” and WWE World will return. Nxt Stand & Deliver will also take place in the city.
