An Air India plane went to London with more than 240 people on board crashed near the Sardar Vallebhbhai Patel International Airport in the western city of Ahmedabad of India, minutes after taking off from Thursday from Ahmedabad of India, said the airline and the police, without specifying if there were deaths.
The plane was heading to Gatwick airport in the United Kingdom, said Air India, while police officers said it crashed into a civil area near the airport.

The images also showed debris on fire, with a thick black smoke that rose to the sky near the airport. They also showed images of people who moved on stretchers and took them in ambulances.
A total of 242 people were on board the flight, news agency ANI He informed, citing the Police Control Chamber of the State of Gujarat.
