Supermasive Games has introduced two “critical” changes in 8020 Directive That will affect the way players interact with the game branching narrative.
Speaking in an interview with Techradar Gaming during the summer game Fest, 8020 DirectiveThe creative director of Will Doyle explained that the team has changed the survival horror aspect for the next dark image anthology entry by implementing “real -time threats.”
“There are two great things that have fundamentally changed what this game is,” Doyle said. “One of them is the threats in real time, the effect it has had to change the control system and the fear that puts you when you are really playing it, it really puts your heart.”
He Until dawn The creators have also changed the way players make important decisions in history by presenting something called the inflection point system. This mechanic allows players to go back at certain points of the narrative, which Doyle says that it will allow players to explore different results, unlike any other dark images entry.
“The other is the inflection point system and the ability to explore our branching history. Because for me, those are two critical aspects of what we have done,” he said.
“We are a narrative game, and you have a new system that allows you to explore the narration in a fun way, and we are a game that allows you to move and have action in it, and we have also presented it forward.”
