Islamabad:
The district judge and additional sessions of Islamabad, Muhammad Afzal Majoka, annulled the decision of a court of first instance to appoint a state lawyer in a vandalism case presented against PTI workers.
While announcing the verdict reserved on the appeal of the PTI, the Court accepted the appeal in FIR No 977 of the Ramna Police Station and declared the decision of the Court of First Instance to appoint the null and null state lawyer.
The case was registered against PTI workers in relation to a protest of the party on November 26, 2024.
In a previous hearing, the Court of First Instance of Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Shehzad Gondal had appointed the state lawyer for the accused.
