
The heir prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman has strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran, calling them a violation of international law.
In a telephone conversation with the newly elected president of Iran Masoud fishshkian on Saturday, the heir prince said that the attacks undermined the sovereignty and national security of Iran, according to the Saudi press agency.
He warned that Israeli military action had derailed continuous efforts to solve tensions about Iran’s nuclear program and was harmful attempts to calm the situation through dialogue and diplomacy.
The heir prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman has reiterated the opposition of the kingdom to the use of force to solve disputes, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve differences.
His comments arrived during a telephone call with the newly elected president of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, after Israel’s missile strikes in Iran on Friday, a rare and mortal escalation that left at least 78 dead people, including high military officers, nuclear scientists and senior officials.
The two countries continued to exchange more strikes on Saturday until Sunday morning.
The heir prince offered his condolences to President Pezeshkian, the Iranian people and the families of the murdered, and expressed hope of rapid recovery for the injured.
The president of Iran, Masoud Peeshkian, thanked King Salman of Saudi Arabia for guaranteeing the well -being of Iranian pilgrims during the Hajj and for providing services without problems until his return for sure home.
In addition, the heir prince had a separate telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss the consequences of the recent military attacks of Israel about Iran.
In his call with Starmer, the heir prince discussed the latest developments and emphasized the need to intensify efforts to relieve tensions and solve disputes through diplomacy, according to the Saudi press agency.
The heir prince also spoke with the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the middle of the growing regional tensions after Israel’s attacks on Iran.
The two leaders reviewed the situation in the region in the light of the growing conflict.
