According to reports, Sean Casey, a former MLB all-Star with the Cincinnati Reds, suffered a serious injury while playing for the popular baseball team Savannah Bananas on Friday night.
Cassey suffered a torn hamstring while running the bases while the team played at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, said Jim Day, Fanduel Sports Network’s station, during the Red Reds against the Detroit Tigers.

“It’s real when you run and you are 51 years old,” said Day, through Cincinnati Enquirer. “He got a great ovation. And he was on the plate. And he was rounding the first base, thinking of going to the second. And the crowd was encouraging him. Now he grabbed the hamstrings.
“I thought I was just playing before the crowd. You know how, ‘Hey, I am an older boy and it is difficult for me to run.’ It turns out that it broke completely.
