For the first time since last July, New York Yankees have been swept in a regular season series.
And he came against his most bitter rival.
The Boston Red Sox had the number of the Yankees over the weekend, winning the three games of their rivalry in Fenway Park. The final victory came Sunday afternoon while Brayan Bello continued the trend of the dominant initial spear to help his red socks to a 2-0 victory.

Before the series, the Yankees were only one of the three MLB teams that had not been swept this year. His counterpart of the city, the Mets of New York and the Cincinnati Reds are now the only two teams that have managed to save at least one game in a series.
It was not necessarily the launch of the Yankees that put them in this hole during the weekend, but the bats were almost completely silent, including the MVP game of Al MVP, Aaron Judge.
The former Yankees star, Alex RodrÃguez, says that Aaron’s judge ‘needs’ a time in October to be a true franchise legend
Apart from his solitary homer in the first game of this series to force Garrett Crochet’s additional tickets at the top of the ninth entrance on Friday night, Judge had 0 of 11 with nine strikeouts.
But it wasn’t just the Yankees captain who could not start the bat. As a team, the Yankees were 15 of 94 (.160) with 10 walks, three extra-base hits and 27 strikeouts in total, including 11 at the end of the Sunday series.

As the 42-28 team knows, that is not the form of success.
But take into account the record of the season: the Yankees can certainly allow a drop given their leadership of the EAST despite the losses. However, those losses, combined with the Rays of Tampa Bay winning seven of its last 10 games, means that New York only has an advantage of 3.5 games at the top of the division.
Meanwhile, the red socks are beginning to warm up at the right time. They hit two of the best pitchers in this season, Carlos Rodon and Max Fried, and the three victories recovered them above .500 (37-36). Now they are only half a game of the third and last place of wildcard from Al Wild.

Of course, there is still a second half of the season for playing in this 162 games marathon. But while the red socks are warming up, the Yankees bats will wait to stabilize the ship at the Bronx this week against the Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Orioles.
