The National Male Soccer team of the United States made a great statement to begin its group game of the Concacaf Gold Cup on Sunday dominating Trinidad and Tobago, 5-0, in Paypal Park in San José, California.
All the talk that led to the Gold Cup was about Christian Pulisic, the Usmnt star who defended his reasoning to refrain from playing in the Gold Cup after his year with AC Milan. The former players and fans called Pulisic, and there was certainly restoration of the list to play on Sunday.

It was Malik Tillman, the 23 -year -old who plays for the PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands in the Eredivisie League, taking the USMNT on the scoreboard with his first international goal in the race in the 16th minute.
Jack McGlynn made it possible, since he was patient inside the 18 -yard T&T box, passed by a defender and raised a shameless pass to Tillman, who buried him for the opening goal of the tournament.

But Tillman was not done in the first half. He started running when Diego Luna took advantage of a bad pass from a T&T defender, providing support if Luna wanted to pass. That is exactly what he did when Tillman obtained separation, and he did 2-0.
The USMNT was not made in the first half, since Patrick Agyemang diverted a moon kick just three minutes after Tillman’s second goal. The T&T Keper had no chance, since he dove in the other direction with the ball that crosses the goal line.

With a 3-0 advantage after the first half, the USMNT not only entered cruise control. It was Breen Aaronson in the 82nd minute that went to his right foot and kept his shot down beyond the T&T Keper to put the 4-0.
Then, Haji Wright joined the annotation party with a perfectly placed shot on the right side of the network only three minutes after Aaronson.
It was a great statement for this USMNT group less than a year from the FIFA World Cup, which will take place in the United States, as well as in Canada and Mexico.

His next group of the group stage will be on June 19 against Saudi Arabia, who knocked Haiti, 1-0, Sunday to win his Opening Gold Cup match as well.
Both the USMNT and Saudi Arabia have three points in the group.
