The city recorded an extremely hot and humid day on Monday, with temperatures that played 40 degrees Celsius. Due to high humidity, residents experienced serious discomfort and suffocating climatic conditions during the afternoon. According to the Department of Meteorology, the maximum temperature in the city reached 40 degrees Celsius, with moisture levels to 58 percent. The combined increase in temperature and humidity caused the weather to feel even faster than it really was.

Throughout the scorching day, citizens anxiously expected the rain. However, apart from light and light rains in some suburban areas, most of the parts of the city remained dry.
