The city recorded an extremely hot and humid day on Monday, with temperatures that played 40 degrees Celsius. Due to high humidity, residents experienced serious discomfort and suffocating climatic conditions during the afternoon. Most of the day he felt like a heat wave, while some suburban areas received light drizzles, leaving the rest of the city waiting in vain rain.
The day began with a minimum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, and moisture increased significantly to 73 percent, which led to a suffocating start. As the sun burned and wind speeds fell, heat intensity constantly increased. In the afternoon, the city experienced conditions similar to the heat wave, accompanied by intense humidity and suffocation.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the maximum temperature in the city reached 40 degrees Celsius, with moisture levels to 58 percent. The combined increase in temperature and humidity caused the weather to feel even faster than it really was.
Throughout the scorching day, citizens anxiously expected the rain. However, apart from light and light rains in some suburban areas, most of the parts of the city remained dry.
