Aaron Rodgers answered the last remaining question of the low season of the NFL earlier this month when he finally agreed a one -year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The reaction was a bit more mixed than support. The Steelers have had five different field marshal games for them since Ben Roethlisberger retired after the 2021 season, and Rodgers was not exactly in the form of MVP when he signed with the New York Jets in 2023.

While a former general manager said that Rodgers would be “irrelevant” for Thanksgiving, Super Bowl champion Joe Theismann, adopted a more optimistic approach when he spoke with Pak Gazette Digital while preparing for the Golf tournament of the American championship Century next month.
He said Rodgers had the “potential to succeed” due to his ability to throw the ball along with another key factor: he doesn’t have to play GM in addition to quarterback.
“Remember that the crimes that Aaron has been basically controlled until this year,” said Theismann. “He was familiar with the systems, he had his coordinators, his contribution to the people I wanted. Now, that is why I think he will succeed, he can only play as a field marshal.
“It does not have to be an assistant to the general manager. He does not have to worry about the staff. The only thing that must worry is to be able to execute this offensive, nothing more. Therefore, from my perspective, I think he takes away a burden to be honest with you. And instead of trying to improve a team, just be part of a team and make his part to improve.”

In addition, Steelers led by Mike Tomlin have always been well trained.
“You are part of the football team, you know, the way you want is that you leave and do your work, and study hard and work hard,” Theisman added. “And, of course, Aaron is saying all the right things at this time, and I think he will do the right things.”
Rodgers had 3,897 aerial yards, 28 TouchDown passes and 11 interceptions in his first season leaving his Achilles tear.
The jets suffered some difficult losses throughout the year. After starting 2-1, New York fell five consecutive times. Of those five losses, four of them were inside a score.

Pittsburgh arrived at the playoffs in 10-7, and it will certainly be interesting to see how they are doing with Rodgers in the center.
