- The program includes access to office spaces, software and support.
- Its scope could extend beyond US DOD contracts.
Oracle has launched a new program aimed at helping technological suppliers, especially smaller companies, selling to the United States Department of Defense (DOD).
The launch of the Oracle Defense Ecosystems Program is produced in the midst of an important restructuring of the US government’s acquisition. UU., With many hyperscalers losing contracts as the Trump administration seeks to centralize the purchase and reduce expenses.
Although it has been seen that companies that have traditionally been sold to the Government offer great discounts to maintain their government contracts, the time has also come for smaller companies to have the possibility of winning offers.

As part of the program, smaller suppliers will have access to Oracle Office spaces, discounts on Palantir cloud tools and Oracle Netsuite software, and guidance on the navigation of pentagon acquisition processes.
The company says that the program has been designed to overcome the structural challenges that small suppliers often face compared to the great defense contractors, effectively leveling the playing field.
Initially, 10 companies participate, including Blackshar.ai, Sensusq, Metron and Arqit, but registering is free (backed by Oracle Funding).
However, the benefits extend far beyond increasing smaller technological companies, with the DOD also obtaining access to a more advanced technology and a broader spectrum of offers, and Oracle Cloud opens more deeply in defense operations, a general victory.
The Doge approach in efficiency could further benefit Oracle at the end of inherited contracts, although the company moves away far behind AWS and Azure in terms of market share, sees opportunities in AI and defense spaces.
Speaking about the new program, Oracle Rand Waldron vice president said: “Nothing is more important than the national security of the United States and its allies, and Oracle has been a cornerstone of this mission for almost 50 years.”
The company’s announcement also shows a clear intention to redefine national security innovation, supporting not only the United States but also its allied nations, in digital and physical defense.
