Karachi: A fire broke out in a shopping center in Rashid Minhas Road in Karachi in the early hours of Wednesday.

Humayun Khan Fire Director, speaking with Geographical newsHe said the fire had begun on the roof of the building and extended to the fourth and third floors, which house clothing stores.

He pointed out that some difficulties were faced during the operation due to a shortage of water and that eleven vehicles of the Fire Brigade and two snorkeling participated in fire fighting efforts.

Rescue officials confirmed that the fire had damaged the ceiling and third floor of the mall, affecting stores and offices. The fire was also present on the second and first floor, but with less intensity.

The residents of the adjacent residential building were evacuated by security, and injuries were not reported. The residential building remained safe, according to rescue officials.

The fire was controlled after four and a half hours.

Earlier this month, a fire broke out in a factory located in the Landhi export processing zone in the early hours of the day, which quickly spread and wrapped three nearby factories due to the presence of fuel material, according to the rescue 1122 officials.

Firefighters suffered wounds after a portion of the Collapsara building; The incident was declared a “third grade” fire. The injured KMC Firefighters were immediately transferred to the hospital.
