- The president of Xbox, Sarah Bond, has formally announced the next Xbox generation
- Xbox keeps its ‘play Anywhere’ mantra with new consoles, hand hand and accessories
- The company is associating with AMD for next generation hardware
Xbox is beginning to talk about its next -generation hardware at Earnest Now, since President Sarah Bond has announced a “several -year strategic association” with the AMD technological giant.
In a video uploaded to the official Xbox YouTube channel, Bond accentuates the Mantra ‘Play Anywhere’ that has formed the Xbox brand core in recent years.
“In Xbox, our vision is that you play the games you want, with the people you want, anywhere you want,” Bond explains, and adds that Xbox is now “investing in our next -generation hardware line in the console, hand, PC, cloud and accessories.”

Bond says that by associating with AMD, Xbox promises “to deliver the next generation of graphic innovation to unlock a deeper level of visual quality and game experiences and immersive players improved with the power of AI.”
‘AI’ is a fashion word that Microsoft likes to launch a lot, and it is understandable if her notion prevails in Xbox makes you feel a bit uncomfortable given the increase in generative content of AI in recent years.
In truth, the use of here will probably be reduced to useful technologies, such as resolution elevation (as we see with the PSSR tailored to PS5 Pro) and the generation of pictures for softer performance in general. As such, we could see something similar to the PSSR implemented in next -generation Xbox consoles.
As for hand computers, we have already seen the announcement of the ASUS Rog Xbox Ally and the Rog Xbox Ally X, two game laptops designed at Xbox Game Pass Games on the Go. Both will be launched at some point in 2025, according to the Xbox games showcase last week.
In better news, Bond also seems to confirm total compatibility back with the next Xbox generation, indicating that the new hardware will maintain “compatibility with its existing Xbox Games Library.” It is reasonably sure to assume that the Xbox Series X | S, although the jury remains in the Xbox One and Classic Xbox and Xbox 360 titles.
Finally, it seems that Xbox will adhere to the Windows ecosystem for its next hardware generation. Bond confirms that Xbox is “working closely with the Windows team, to ensure that Windows is the number one platform for games.” So do not wait for a return to the iconic Xbox 360 ‘Blades’ panel for which millions have a hobby.
