Islamabad:
The Minister of Defense, Khawaja Asif, welcomed the meeting between the Syed Army’s field, also Munir and the president of the United States in the White House on the other day, as an important diplomatic success of Pakistan.
Speaking with journalists outside the House of Parliament, the minister stressed that this was the first time that an army chief had been invited to lunch with the president of the United States, underlining the importance of the meeting.
Khawaja Asif emphasized that discussions on international and regional issues showed Pakistan’s potential to solve key problems, particularly in the context of India Pak tensions.
