Islamabad:
A day after the historical meeting between US President Donald Trump and the Syed field marshal also in the White House, Pakistan on Thursday reiterated his opposition to a military solution and emphasized diplomacy as the preferred way to resolve the continuous conflict between Israel and Iran.
In his weekly news conference, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shafqat Ali Khan, declared that the Paquistani delegation, led by the field marshal, probably transmitted the concerns and position of Islamabad about the growing conflict during the meeting.
