- James Gunn has caused why Jason Momoa’s wolf is vital for SupergirlistThe plot
- His inclusion helped the creative team of the DC movie to decipher the story they want to tell
- Gunn also confirmed which actor will play the main villain of the film
James Gunn has confirmed who will play the villain in Supergirlist – And it opened about the importance of the wolf of Jason Momoa in the next DC Universe (DCU) movie.
In a broad interview in episode 15 of the official podcast of DC Studios, Gunn revealed that the Belgian actor Matthias Schoenerts will portray Krem.
For the uninitiated: Krem is the Big Bad in ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’, a series of eight -parts graphic novels in which the second DCU film, which is launched on June 26, 2026, is very inspired. In fact, the film had the title of his homonym of comics until very recently, with Gunn admitting Supergirl: Tomorrow’s Now he was known for his much simpler and more clean title Supergirlist.
But back to Krem. Last October, Deadline said that Schoenerts had been chosen as the terrifying antagonist of the film, but it’s just that Gunn has admitted The regime and Amsterdam Star is part of his cast. For more details about all others that will see in the first departure of the feature film of Kara Zor-El in more than 40 years (the first of 1984 SupergirlistIt is available to transmit in Max, Fyi), see my dedicated Supergirlist guide.
That is not the only interesting information that Gunn discussed. In fact, DC Studios’s co-chichofrief also provided more details about why Milly Alcock was chosen as Supergirl, how director Craig Gillespie fought positively to include certain scenes in the superhero movie, and the initial text that Jason Momoa sent to Gunn to persuade him to let Momo interpret Lobo.
It is a continuation of that final conversation that will arouse the interest of DC devotees. In fact, as the expert in coanfrerion/comic, Coy Jandreau, he mentioned during the last installment of the podcast, the original draft of Supergirl: Tomorrow’sThe literary series of eight parts was established to present the immortal and motorcycle assembly rewards hunter. Tom King, who wrote the graphic novel, confirmed that this was the case in an interview with Comicbook.com in February 2023.
Since Lobo had to appear in the King and Bilquis comic series Evely before he was finally cut off the story, in addition to the fact that Momoa will play the last surviving blackberry in SupergirlistLandreau asked if the next movie in DCU chapter incorporated “some of the [comics’] Original draft ideas “regarding how Lobo fits into history that Supergirlist I will say it.
“Tomorrow’s womanIn comics, there are a lot of small stories, “said Gunn,” and we needed to create a more traditional story, a more traditional story and three acts. So, wolf helps us do that.
“It is not an amalgam of him and Krem,” Gunn added about the rumors that Lobo and Krem would somehow combine in a single character. “He [Lobo] He is a totally separate character. I love wolf. I always thought he was a great character to adapt and, perhaps, in some way, the biggest comic character that has ever been in a movie. So, I think it was something great to do [include him in Supergirl]Yeah.”
