The minister says that M-6 costs RS364b

Islamabad:

The Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives has clarified that the cost of the M-6 Hyderabad-Sukkur highway rationalized 395 billion to 364 billion.

It is to clarify that during the meeting of the Central Development Work Party (CDWP) held on June 18, 2025, an error was made in the cost number of the Hyderabad-Sukkur Highway Costs (M-6), which was reported inadvertently, said a statement issued here on Friday.

The correct review cost of the project, as recommended to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC), is RS364 billion, not RS395 billion as indicated initially in the press release.
