- The Galaxy Store in the US has some new freebies to offer
- Watch an exclusive clip from the upcoming Squid Game season 2
- You can also get three months of Peacock Premium
Those of you who have a Samsung Galaxy phone and love streaming entertainment will receive two gifts from Samsung right before the holidays: an exclusive clip of Squid Game season 2 on Netflix and three free months of Peacock Premium.
According to Samsung’s announcement (via Android Police), you need to head to the Galaxy Store to claim these benefits. As long as you download Netflix and Peacock from there and are in the US, the benefits should appear.
First there is a clip of Squid Game season 2 within the Netflix app, which Samsung says has not been made public before. The hit show will return on December 26, so it’s a way to whet your appetite before the next batch of episodes arrive.
Samsung also notes that the The Squid Game: Unleashed The game is also now available on Netflix, although it is not exclusive to Samsung Galaxy or the US. If you want to take on players from around the world in Squid GameGo to the download page.
Get premium peacock
The second bonus for Samsung Galaxy owners, through the Galaxy Store, is three free months of Peacock Premium, enough to get you through the holidays and beyond. This is an offer for new subscribers who have not signed up before.
Peacock Premium would normally cost you $7.99 a month, so you can save about $24 with this deal from Samsung. It’s the cheapest Peacock plan, so ads are also included and you don’t get offline download support.
The Peacock streaming service gives you access to shows like Parks and Recreation, Saturday night live, the office, 30 rock, poker face, yellow stoneand The day of the jackal (a program that particularly impresses us at TechRadar).
You have until June 4, 2025 to claim the deal, so there’s no need to rush. Samsung has also announced that Spotify is now also available on the Galaxy Store, so you have another reason to visit it instead of the Google Play Store.
