The Mercury phone demolished the Chicago Sky in a 107-86 victory on Saturday afternoon at Wintrust Arena.
The Sky striker, Angel Reese, fought in the defeat with nine points and two rebounds in his career.
Reese, usually tenacious on the boards with an average of 11 rebounds, was a non -factor in glass in the loss of explosion. Reese was retained just an attempt to defeat.

The sky fell to 3-9 with the loss and has lost five of its last six games. Kamilla Cardoso and Michaela Onyenwere led the sky with 17 points each.
The Mercury established a franchise record for most of the triple made in a game with 17. Sami Whitcomb hit five of those 17 triples and ended with 17 points in the victory.

Six different Phoenix players hit at least two triples, drawing the record of a single WNBA game.
Phoenix made 35 of 68 shots from the field, 17 of 35 from the range of 3 points and 20 of 24 from the free throw line and ended with 25 assists.
Mercury’s victory was his fifth consecutive, improving them at 11-4 in the season.

Satou Sabally scored 15 points for Mercury, and Alyssa Thomas had 11 points and eight assists. Brown and Kitija Laksa added 11 points each.
The next Mercury game is against the New York Liberty Friday, while the sky will seek to recover from its loss against Atlanta’s dream on Sunday at 3 pm et.
