Pakistan condemned the United States on Sunday for launching attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, qualifying the measure in a violation of international law and warning that the region could further destabilize.
American attacks arrive on the tenth day of the Israel-Iran War caused by Israel’s wave in Iran on June 13, increasing the fears of a broader regional escalation. Islamabad expressed a serious concern about the growing tensions and urged all parties to refrain from greater aggression.

“These attacks violate all the norms of international law. Iran has the legitimate right to defend themselves under the UN letter,” said Pakistan’s foreign office in a statement.

When qualifying the “deeply disturbing” situation, the statement warned that the “escalation of unprecedented violence” could have long -range implications beyond the Middle East.
Pakistan also emphasized the importance of protecting civilians and civil infrastructure, urging all parties to respect international humanitarian law.
“The resource to dialogue and diplomacy online with the principles of the UN Charter remains the only viable path,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, adding that the conflict must be taken to an immediate end.
The statement occurs in the midst of a growing worldwide concern for the growing confrontation that involves Iran, Israel and now the United States, increasing the risk of a broader war in the region.

The attacks attacked three key Iranian nuclear sites, Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, according to US president Donald Trump, who announced the operation on their social platform of truth.
“All airplanes are now outside Iran’s airspace. A complete payload of pumps was removed on the main site, Fordow,” Trump wrote, calling the operation a success. He praised the United States Army and declared: “Now is the moment of peace.”
Previously, Pakistan said he would recommend to Trump the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in reducing a recent military confrontation between Islamabad and New Delhi.
“President Trump demonstrated a great strategic forecast and stellar statesmen through a solid diplomatic commitment to Islamabad and New Delhi, which broke down a situation of rapid deterioration,” said the foreign office.
