Following his successful career, Rihanna added a new Gong to his collection after winning the Icon Silver Blimp award in the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
The event presenter, Tyla, presented the prize when the Grammy winner joined the program through a video segment.
“The Icon Award is a very special prize, and we all know and love Rihanna,” he said. “She has been a great influence on music, fashion, beauty, whatever. Inspires many like me, so renounce Bad Gal Riri!”
In his acceptance speech, Rihanna said: “Thank you very much for this incredible prize. I am more than honored to be named his 2025 icon. I am even more honored to be able to share this moment with all of you because none of this would be possible with you.”
“Obviously, this is a big problem for me, and I just want to take this moment to remind everyone that where you are at this time is significant and crucial where you are about to go.”
“It has your space in this world and know that you are chosen by greatness. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, this really means a lot to me,” he added.
In the end, Riri also made fun of the village of the Smurfs at the bottom of his video segment like a wink to his next animated film.
