Peshawar:
The speaker of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa assembly, Babar Salem Swati, has strongly condemned the united attack of the United States against Iran’s nuclear facilities, qualifying a flagrant and serious violation of sovereignty, the territorial integrity of Iran, the United Nations Charter and the International Law.
He said that the strike comes at a time when Iran already faces Israel’s aggression, and added that such actions will not only increase tensions in the region, but will also represent a serious threat to global peace. Swati expressed full solidarity and sympathy with the people and the Government of Iran, urging the international community to take an immediate notice of the aggression and play their role to guarantee peace and stability in the Middle East.
In addition, he emphasized that international institutions such as the United Nations should not remain silent, and that defending international law should be their main priority.
Meanwhile, the advisor of the Principal Minister on Information and Public Relations, BarrĂster, Dr. Saif, has strongly criticized the reported proposal of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to nominate the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, for the Nobel Peace Prize, qualifying him as “top of the Sycofantic policy.”
BarrĂster Saif said it was incomprehensible to suggest such an honor for a man “responsible for raining bombs on Muslims.” He pointed out that President Trump not only attacked Iran during his mandate, but also rejected the resolutions of Alto El Fuego in Gaza eight times.
“Instead of mediating peace between Iran and Israel, innocent civilians are being directed directly, and Shehbaz Sharif remains silent, but Trump’s conversations for the Nobel Peace Prize. This is not only shameful, it is condemnable,” he said.
In addition, he said: “There is a limit to adulation, and the recent comments of Shehbaz Sharif are not only shameful, but reflect the final level of servitude. Trump’s nomination is equivalent to insulting the entire Muslim Ummah.”
